I confirm Piwik is a great tool. We have completely replaced Google Analytics by Piwik on piwigo.org because I don’t like the fact that our visitors are tracked by Google and they are not even aware of it.

In addition, I know the founder of Piwik and he’s a really nice and smart guy.

There is also an android app for using piwik, free software of course and available in freedroid

Hi Chris,

thx for this entry (I plan to do one in french on biblibre.com, because I’m not pro-GA, and BibLibre has an offer on piwik 😉 )

But more : we made some customization to the javascript, that let you see opac-search related informations. Like searches with no results, searched terms, searched indexes, …

When we find some time, we will setup a git repo & publish our work.
