Koha 3 Packaging
Ok, the 2nd crack of my debian package is up in my repo now
Add
deb http://apt.workbuffer.org/ hardy all
To your /etc/apt/sources.list
And then
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libkoha-perl
And if you are willing you can checkout my package branch, and build your own package, for your architecture.
git clone git://gitorious.org/koha/mainline.git koha
OR
git clone http://git.gitorious.org/koha/mainline.git
Then
git -r branch
Will show you the remote branches,
git checkout origin/package
Gets you the package branch, then you run
fakeroot dpkg-buildpackage -b -tc -us -uc
If you want to make any changes, and build a new package with a higher patch number, run
dch -i
Then commit the debian/changelog file and rebuild your package.
Any patches gratefully accepted, once I have it fully working with debconf and the preinst, postinst, postrm scripts all going I will submit patches to patches@koha.org.
Oh, and Marc from Biblibre informed me I forgot to tell people how they can get my public key. You can get it from biglumber.com
Or simply by running
gpg --keyserver subkeys.pgp.net --recv-key 557F7779
UPDATE
I have removed the packages as people were trying to use them for purposes other than just testing.
I am the worst golfer EVAR
I remember now why I don’t play very often, I’m horrible at it.
Was a fun day though, Tom, Julian and I went out for a round at Te Marua, one of the prettier golf courses around. We only got rained on for a little bit so the weather did it’s part. I think I ended up on 135, so I certainly won’t be going pro anytime soon.
This sporting event needs more churros
There is absolutely no sporting event that wouldnt be improved with someone selling churros.
Cricket – Churros
Rugby – Churros
Golf – Churros
Hockey – Churros
…
You know I’m right.
Bowling
We went bowling today, at the new place in Wellington, the lanes. I completely suck at bowling, I was only just getting the hang of it when the game ended. Julian won, with Laurel coming in a close second.
Worst game of volleyball EVAR!
Well that was pretty bad, periods of crap punctuated with pockets of utter rubbish. I don’t think I’ve played that bad in quite a while.
Ah well, here’s hoping next week I play a little bit better. Why is no one showing the NZ Maori game tonight?
Even the rugby channel isnt showing it, but is instead showing the replay of
some old 6 nations game. It’ll probably turn out to be a really great game,
certainly has to be better than the bunch of arse that was last weeks super
14 final.
UPDATE 2006/06/03: And it was a thriller apparently.
According to Stuff the game
was a thriller, so im now really annoyed there doesnt even seem to be a
replay of it.
What a bunch of crappy crap crap.
I couldn’t see about 80% of the game because of the fog, but it was a pretty
horrible game anyway. The crusaders had about 80% territory and about 60%
possesion and could only score one try … a victory for a crap boring style
of play. Im watching league from now on.
One for the Thumb
Yay! The Steelers won the superbowl and we had a fun party at our house
watching the game. Ill put the photos up later on and put up a link to them.
UPDATE 2006/02/08: Photos
The photos are up here
Going to the Sevens
The Wellington Sevens are on today and
tomorrow. And I’m to cheer for NZ and I think Kenya this year. It should be
a lot of fun, and then we have the Superbowl to watch on Monday (NZ time).
Sporty weekend.
