The title track for the album of the same name from Trinity Roots. Is a haunting song with challenging lyrics. I think especially poignant at this time, which I feel is a pivotal period in New Zealands history, and the decisions made in the next few years will decide how our descendants judge this generation.
“From the tail of the fish to the tip, many all around this world want a piece of this land. Seems like nothing, nothing no is gonna stop it, I know it, I can feel it.”
Makes me cry everytime i here this

Great song, I love the way the groove pushes and pulls around, a reflection of the sense of the lyrics and the intent of the song to feel unsettling or even uncomfortable to the listener, a genuine musical construct to aid in communicating the core meaning. Almost disturbing in a totally non threatening way… a yes quite beautiful.

Haunting, ethereal, totally and utterly Aotearoa New Zealand. Whenever I hear this song, it emotes feeling from deep within – sweet, joy, happiness, laughter, bittersweet, memories of times gone before and Trinity Roots captured it. Nga mihi ki a koutou katoa. Arohanui…
