Well we have our scond go live this monday, thats 2 mondays in a row so in 3 days time there will be 2 public libraries running Koha 2.2.x in New Zealand. Hopefully it will all go as smooth as the last one. I’ll post some urls to look at once it safely live.

Well the kiwis came very close to historic back to back wins tonight, still losing 28-26 is still pretty respectable and it was a great game to watch. I hope the NPC final tomorrow night is as good.
Hopefully the black caps will win the 20-20 game too, though im not staying up till 4am to watch.

Extreme go slow
If this page is loading slow for you, blame TelstraClear, something is up
with their network in Wellington at the moment and everything has slowed to
a creep. Its been about an hour now, so hopefully they sort themselves out
pretty soon.
Slept right through tech meeting this morning
Was working late, then magic (one of our dogs) was feeling poorly and wanted
to go in and outside all through the night. Consequently I slept through my
alarm and Laurels alarm, and im only just returning to conciousness now.
Only 5 more days and I should be able to catch up on some sleep.
NZ Wank whoops I mean Fashion Week
What a complete bunch of arse, a bunch of people who take themselves and
what they do way to seriously get together to have a big wankfest. And we
are supposed to be impressed some show cost hundreds of thousands to put on?

Well if you have to work on a saturday night, you have to pretty happy that

I think I got all that needed to be done, done, so should be all set for a
relaxing data tomorrow and an early night before the go live on monday. So
now I’m going to unwind watching some adult swim, specifically aqua teen
hunger force, then hit the hay.
Go live is getting close
Well its only 3 more days until the second public library in NZ goes live
with Koha. And as you’d expect its pretty
busy at work at the moment. Once its all live, I’m sure there will be a
bunch of publicity so keep an eye out for that. Its looking pretty crash
hot, the designers and htmlers have done a great job I reckon.
UPDATE 2005/10/18: Too smooth
Well that was the smoothest go live Ive ever been involved in, I keep
feeling that something will explode, but into the second day of production
and everything seems all fine. We had a few glitches, but nothing close to a
show stopper, very gratifying.

Ive been playing with this
since google made it available. Its pretty cool, if you have a few rss feeds
you like to monitor, it seems to work really well.
That was quite a lot of rain
Well, it fair bucketed down last night, 36mm in an hour or so, with thunder
and lightning and everything. Heres hoping the weekend weather is a bit
nicer, we have a party to go to .. well for a short time, if Laurel is up to
it. We also have to go talk to travel agents.
