I just want to eat my snacks
Kahurangi decided he didn’t want to play football this week and decided to sit in Atarau’s push chair and eat his snacks.
It was pretty darn cold as you can tell from Atarau’s get up.

We begged to get on
But once we got on
We weren’t sure we liked it.
Hide and snake
Tonight before bed I said to Kahurangi “One more game before bed”, Kahurangi said “Let’s play hide and snake”. I said “I don’t know how to play that” he said “I’ll show you” then he ran off and got his toy snake, then got a blanket and climbed under it with the snake and yelled “Find me daddy!”.
I’m still not totally clear on the rules but he seemed to enjoy it.
Something that amused me today
Today we were at the Petone fair, and two teenage girls were collecting signatures for a petition against animal cruelty.
Girls: “Please sign this petition against animal cruelty, If you have a pet, know someone who has a pet, or just like animals, please sign this petition”
Kahurangi: “I love giraffes!”
The kids are growing up so fast
Kahurangi started at his new Kindergarten this week
And Te Po Atarau had his first swim

Well it’s not actually raining, and it is supposed to improve over the day, so we are gonna brave it. The satellite image looks promising and we can always just blame Sarah or Chris N if the weather closes back in 🙂
If you have a tarp or anything like that for sitting on, that would be awesome I suspect the ground is going to be damp.

The weather held off and Kahurangi had a great time and I think all his friends did too. There are a few photos here
What do you do when your party is postponed?
Take your shirt off, put a big plastic basket on your head and run around the lounge singing, that’s what.
