Yay, Laurels new computer should be arriving here tomorrow. No more insanely
loud fan noise and clunky slow computer.

Horrible network performance tonight.
Well, the screen server crashed, and now my network connection has decided
to go mental.
And as I right this, it decides to make a liar out of me and come right.
Still when it wasnt working it wasnt pretty, look at that average time
— http://www.paradise.net.nz ping statistics —
112 packets transmitted, 103 packets received, 8% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max = 11.0/286.1/590.5 ms
Tired but Happy.
Well installed knoppix on Russ’s
machine with no real hitches. Knoppix Is pretty
fantastic with its hardware detection. Everything just works.
Then we were treated to a great game of rugby. All blacks vs the Pacific
Islanders. Which the All Blacks won, but which was much closer than a lot of
people might have thought which im glad about, as I think the concept of
Pacific Islanders team is a great one.
Then we beat Australia in basketball, a great turn around from the 30 point
thrashing we’d received the night before.
And to cap it all of, Daniel Vettori had a blinder and we beat the West
Indies in a NatWest ODI cricket final.
Small Horse to you Daniel.
No I wont diagnose your network problems!
With help from my dad and Rachel, we now have a tshirt available from
cafepress. Here it is
Wear it with pride, promoting the use of Te Reo, and also saving
yourself from have to fix other peoples problems 🙂

that the listening plugin can find, it will display that along with the
track name in the left hand side bar.
EEK Old code
I just looked at some perl I wrote over 6 years ago. What a mess ..
hopefully I don’t write code anything like that anymore.
Scarily enough its still in production.
Not for much longer though.
Bloglines
Owen pointed this out on the Koha irc channel the other day. It appears I
now have 3 subscribers to my rss feed from http://www.bloglines.com. Which is kinda
neat.
