I was looking after Kahurangi after work today while Laurel was out, and we were reading his Hairy Maclary book, until I realised he had fallen asleep.

Drooly mc drool drool
Kahurangi went into work with Laurel today, and he decided to drool all over everything.
Not so many photos at the moment
The battery in our digital camera died, and Sony want us to pay 149$ for a new battery, like hell. So at the moment we are only using the old school film camera, so not so many photos online. We probably will buy a new digital camera at some point, but to pōhara at the moment.
Trading sleep schedules
Last night Kahurangi went to bed at 9.30pm, and didn’t wake up until 7.43am. Which was fantastic, I on the other hand went to bed a 9.30pm and didn’t manage to fall asleep till about 5am. Stupid headache.
Back from the coast
We’ve just got back from going up the coast for Julian’s father’s unveiling. We had fantastic weather the whole time, and the day went as well as it could.
Here is the view on Saturday night from the beach at Waipiro bay.
It’s a lovely place and if it had internet and cell phone coverage I could definitely live there.
I am the worst golfer EVAR
I remember now why I don’t play very often, I’m horrible at it.
Was a fun day though, Tom, Julian and I went out for a round at Te Marua, one of the prettier golf courses around. We only got rained on for a little bit so the weather did it’s part. I think I ended up on 135, so I certainly won’t be going pro anytime soon.
Teething sucks
Poor old Kahurangi has his first tooth coming through so he is alternating between periods of being happy and bouts of screaming.
To make it worse he’s gotten his first cold too, so has a snotty nose.
Don’t beep at me you moron
Why is it that people who follow to closely behind, feel the need to beep at you when you put your indicator on and turn into your drive way?
Dude if you rear end a car, its ALWAYS your fault. Stop driving like a jackass and you wont have to brake when someone turns a corner.

There is absolutely no sporting event that wouldnt be improved with someone selling churros.

Blue berries, brownies and Burritos
We went out to the Blue Berry farm today and had a great meal. They have a mexican cafe there, organic veges, and a great bakery that serves brownies and blue berry ice cream. Of course you can pick your own blueberries too. Today was the last day they will be open, until Jan 1 next year.
