Another day in the life of Kahurangi
Laurel is back at home
Laurel was discharged this morning, all good, everything is as it should be. She has to keep off her leg as much as possible, other than that nothing special. Kahurangi missed her, he started crying at 5am this morning and pretty much didn’t stop until she came home at 11.30am. Needless to say I’m happy she is home as well.
Operation went fine
Laurel’s ankle surgery went fine, she is recovering well, and should be coming home tomorrow. Kahurangi and I are hanging out at home together, he’s just gone to sleep now, which is pretty good cos its just gone 9pm.
Last night he slept 7 hours, so hopefully he does the same again. I’ll update the blog tomorrow when Laurel is home.

Laurel had just told Kahurangi one of her jokes, he cracked up laughing.
Plunket Visit number 2
Kahurangi now weighs 5.23 kg and is now 61cm’s tall. So hes starting to get big, he certainly feels like 5 kg when we are carrying him around now.
During tummy time yesterday he nearly managed to get himself up on all fours .. how scary is that.
All ready for the sun
Another nice hot day here today, so Kahurangi got to wear his sun hat.
The warm weather is making Kahurangi yawn a lot too.
