I am so glad Hone Harawira is in Parliament

With the major parties happy to let the Australian Governments blatant human rights abuses pass with no comment. One of the few voices calling it like it is is Harawira.

“Hawawira [sic] said John Howard is “a racist bastard” trying to impose racist policies on a people who can’t fight back.”

You can see the full article on the tvnz site. Who may have fixed their spelling mistake by the time you look, but since its a Maori name they probably won’t have.

Koha Project Day #2

Today was Project day again (its a weekly thing). This week I worked on a few more unit tests, finishing off the tests for C4::Date. Quite a bit of wiki cleaning and working with Joshua about how we might use git in the project. To wit I created this

And Joshua has been fleshing out a ton of text to go with it. Theres a bit more to go but it will be all ready for the developers meeting.

On a more positive note

I finally got my Koha IM bot mostly working, and did a post here

A mixed weekend

I started feeling poorly on Friday afternoon and by Saturday was quite fluey, but some Echinacea and a lot of sleep seemed to get rid of that.
Then last night NZ lost the yachting, but won the rugby.

And today had a great brunch, then some read some bizarre blog posts indirectly about Koha. Which I’m not even going to get into, because it would just add fuel to what in my opinion is an utter non issue.
