And much fun was had by All.
Well the beige brigade came in second on raw scores, and 3rd equal when the
age adjusted scores came in. As expected the tolkien fans took out top spot.
Ive got a head cold now though, I think from the hot studio, to cold waiting
area, to hot studio, to cold waiting area transitions.
Still it was worth it.

Well the nz teams did it
All Blacks 36 – England 12
Black Ferns 38 – England Women 0
NZ Maori 26 – England A 19 .. It took 100 minutes, and nz maori were down
19-5 at half time, so a huge 2nd half. And a tense 20 minutes of extra time,
with Hosea Gear clinching it with a try with 2 minutes spare.

The First Koha install in Bangladesh

The entire library system in our
university is based on the Koha 2.0RC4 software. This is the first and
only online library system amongst the 52 Private Universities in Dhaka.
We use the KOHA Intranet module (http://koha.presidency.edu.bd) for
administration and data entry. The KOHA software is running on a system
with the following specifications:
Pentium 4 1.8GHz
512MB DDR RAM
37GB x 4 Ultra SCSI Seagate Hard Drives
Redhat Fedora Core 2 (will be migrating to Redhat Enterprise 3.0 soon)

Dont buy cheap solar powered lights. They suck .. they give out precisely
enough light for you to see that what you just tripped over was in fact a
cheap solar powered light.

Ive decided that thinking about 10 exceedingly annoying people is just too
depressing. So Ive decided to just mention 1 arsehat.
So today we got a letter from the city council, for this years dog
registrations, .. $72 a pop. They’ll probably use the money to drug test
their staff, or put up cctv cameras and then not pay anyone to watch the
monitors .. but those are other issues.
My beef is that we also got a pamphlet explaining the new dog control Act.
This brings me to the point, todays arsehat is John Anderson, the lawyer
whose daughter was attacked by a dog. He then went on a crusade, descending
on parliament and showing pictures of his daughters injuries. Which in turn
led to the passing of a bunch of moronic laws.
I find it utterly reprhensible that 15,000 plus citizens can Hikoi to
parliament to protest the removal of a whole races rights to due process
under the law, and be ignored. And one rich lawyer can have this kind of an
effect.
His daughter got attacked by a dog, its owners were sentenced. Recently a
woman drove a car into a party, killing a party goer. This weekend someone
will undoubtedly crash their car, and kill themselves or others. Lets ban
cars and leave the dogs alone.
