There has been some recent discussion on the Koha-devel mailing list about versioning systems. The consensus is, we are over CVS, but we are still undecided exactly what to replace it with.
A while back we trialed arch .. which I didn’t like much at all, I think it was more that I couldn’t get my head around it. The last week or so I have been playing with Git, so far I’m liking it a quite a lot. So I’ll use it for a project I’m working on now, and get a few others to try it too, and see if I still like it by the end of that.

So its now three years since I started this blog. Here are some useless statistics

August 2004 was my most prolific month
I have gone through 2 different blog engines and 2 different hosts since its been going.
I still haven’t gotten bored of it yet

I rejigged my network today, causing the website to vanish from the net for a while. I have finished mucking around for now so it should be stable again.
Well as stable as a box that overheats slightly and sits under my desk with dogs bumping into can be.

After all the buzz about the upcoming apple iPhone, I couldn’t wait to get one, so I made one myself.

So now if anyone is using the google toolbar you can add a button for this site.

I got bored watching tv this evening while Kahurangi slept, so i decided to go have play at www.minti.com which is like myspace cept less hideously ugly and aimed at parents. My page is at ranginui.minti.com

So the blog is now running on mongrel, with mod_proxy and apache. Its going a lot faster but im sure ive busted some stuff, if you notice anything let me know.
