So Laurel is trying to watch ‘Nurses’ on tv, but someone next door, with not
a huge amount of coordination is banging on a bass drum. There is a tuba and
a slide trombone accompanying him… and I think I hear someone shaking a
tamborine too. Its quite the cacophony, maybe it will evolve into music at
some point, heres hoping.

It was Bob’s stag night on saturday, and im still tired now (Monday
morning). Im getting old. Pictures from the night can be found here

The weather has gone completely mental, it looks like its going to be
another bleh day today. Ah well, should be under cover for a big chunk of it
so thats ok. Laurel is off to do xmas shopping and I get to go to a stag do,
im fairly certain I win on that deal. The dogs have already got one of their
presents and they seem pretty happy with it.

Laurel told me to make a list of stuff I want, to help her and others choose
christmas presents. So here goes.

• World of Warcraft PC Game
• NHL 2005 PS2 game
• Battle for Middle Earth PC Game
• Return of the King Extended Edition DVD
• The Family Guy season 1 or 2 DVD
• Robosapien

Thats all I have so far.

Its gonna be one of those days I can tell. Ah well, at least they were all
pretty easily fixable. On the plus side Laurel won us tickets to go see
Garden State tonight so thats good. Zach Braff is in Melbourne doing promo
work for said film today, and then he is on his way to NZ. Hopefully he
comes to Wellington, that’d be kinda cool.
Right back to work I go.

Laurel got bored today so she went hunting for pictures about her surgery.
She found two, one is so gross I refuse to put it up on my blog. So Laurel
will have get her own blog if she wants to put that up. This
one isnt
nearly as bad though.

After grossing me out she then decided to paint her cast, you can see the
results here.

Laurel went in her for ankle reconstruction yesterday, it all went smoothly
and she seems to be recovering well. I took some

and after. I’ll post an update when she is back home.

UPDATE 2004/11/18: Back home

Laurel is now back at home, and already trying to get back to work.

The Halo 2 ads have finished but now there are ads for ‘Anacondas crappy
crap crap’ or something like that. Some really bad looking movie anyway. I
blame Cat.

Ok, in the 2 hours of tv I just watched im fairly sure Halo2 was advertised
in every single ad break. Enough already, or at least just make some
slightly different ones. If I hear “I need a weapon” one more time, I might
have to throw the remote at the tv.
