Our neighbours have learnt this lesson, after all their freshly laid pipes and concrete cracked and slid down the hill last night. And they weren’t the only place to suffer damage in the big downpour. Plenty of slips all around the hills around Island Bay.

Only the three of us today, well Laurel and I for the first three rounds, then Walter joined us for the rest. We managed to pull out second place, and score another $40 in bar tab. We didnt use last weeks $50 as there were only a few of us, so we now have $90 for next week.

I rarely mow the lawns, there’s weeds growing up through the stones in the path and yet the valuation of the house jumped way up again so up go the rates. I think we will have to buy a clapped out car and park it on the front lawn or something to stop the valuations increasing.

I think thats 6 wins now, so thats $300 of bar tab we have won. Matt and I managed to fluke the sports round and stage a big come from behind win tonight.
More ass than class.

Have you seen those adds on tv? Send a sms to some random number, and get an incredibly stupid sound for the ringtone on your phone. All for some excorbitant amount, usually $4.50 or something.
If you have ever bought some, let me know, I have some pocket lint, an old toilet roll, some shaving scum, and toe jam to sell you for $385.

Today we went to Regal for yum cha, yummy. I as usual ate way too much, they just keep bringing it, I just keep eating it. After that we went to look at car seats for Crayon, and for birthday presents for Amelia.
Then it was off to Amelia’s 2nd birthday party which was a lot of fun, but I was too full to do much except sit around.

Im back, tired and talked out but back. I’m glad its a long weekend coming up, cos I need to catch up on some sleep.

I was going to write a nice long post about day 3 and the first day of training. But the aircon unit behind me is actually sparking. Im getting the hell out, proper post tomorrow.

Well we managed to pull off another win, thanks mostly to fluking the hell out of the first round and getting 10 out of 10.

Mica was on fire, answering questions and making me laugh almost constantly.
